Measuring the Brix (sweetness) and acidity of grapes and squeeze fruit juice with this Brix and Brix-acidity meter bundle.
This product is a special order item which can’t be returned or cancelled.
Measure the Brix (sugar) level with ease by placing the fruit on the sample stage with no need of cutting or squeezing. In addition, this meter requires no more cumbersome wiping and cleansing after each measurement.
Brix meter features
Just place it against a fruit
Measuring Brix (sweetness) is straightforward. Place a sensor against fruit and measure. There is no need for wiping and cleaning when it can measure without cutting and juicing.
Measure any and all
When you can measure Brix simply by placing the sensor against the fruit’s surface, all fruit can be sampled. Since measuring does not damage fruit, when done, it can be packed and shipped.
So lightweight that it can fit in your pocket
This is the world’s smallest non-destructive Brix meter. The side button let you measure fruit with one hand while they are still growing on the trees. It is battery-powered so it can be taken and used anywhere.
A perfect fit
The cushion around the sensor provides gentle but firm contact to the fruit’s surface. Regardless of the shape, it prevents external light from interfering and causing measurement discrepancies.
Compactness
The light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are used as a light source. Using our cultivated optical engineering knowledge and skills, the path of light to and from fruit was carefully calculated. There is no other portable instrument that can be as easily carried around with you.
Safe and durable products
With this product, you are guaranteed the highest quality and service by designing, constructing, manufacturing, and checking the quality.
At the lowest price possible
It is affordable for private individuals as well.
External Light Interference (ELI) function
This meter is equipped with an ELI function to detect external light that may interfere when measuring outside while fruit are still growing on the tree. When external lights are detected, it will display “nnn”.
Two easy ways to measure
Hold this unit in your hand and press its sensor against the fruit or place the fruit on the sensor. At the push of a button, it will begin taking measurements. Whichever the way you prefer, a buzzing sound will let you know when it is done taking measurements.
A cover for outdoor usage
When taking measurements outside, ’Outdoor Cover S’ is a convenient accessory to use with.
Applications
Ideal for measuring acidity of grapes, this meter comes with the Master Kit which includes a scale, a beaker, and a measuring spoon
Brix-Acidity meter features
Hybrid measurement device
With this meter, the integral parameters of fruit, sugar (Brix) and acidity can be measured with one device. It measures sugar level (Brix) through a refractometry method using light refraction. Also, it measures acidity level through electroconductivity method using electrical current.
Sugar (Brix) x acidity balance
Besides sugar level or sweetness, the acidity or tartness is another important element that influences the taste of fruit. By simply pressing a button, it promptly displays the indispensable sugar acid ratio of fruit and vegetables.
Simple measurement procedures
To measure acidity, dilute sample with water, place it on the sample stage and press the START button. Anyone can easily take these measurements.
No reagent required
Conventional acid level measurement such as the acid-base titration method requires large amounts of costly reagent and tedious disposal procedures. This Brix-Acidity meter requires absolutely no reagent at all!
Easy to read measurement values
The acid-base titration method derives the acid content as phenolphthalein changes color when the solution is alkalized, but it is difficult to determine the equivalence point. With this Brix-Acidity meter, anyone can easily see the results with a digital readout.
Transportable and easy to carry
Transportable and compact size. It is lightweight and can be easily carried by anyone.
Glassware is unnecessary
Have peace of mind and be worry free of damage with this Brix-Acidity meter.
